The Redactorizer app
Redactorizer is designed around privacy. All redaction happens locally on your Mac. No documents, images, or other data are ever sent to our servers or any third party. Nothing leaves your computer.
This website
The Redactorizer website (redactorizer.com) provides information about the app and ways to contact us. We collect minimal data:
- Contact emails — If you email us (for example, to request a free copy or ask a question), we receive your email address and message. We use this only to respond and do not share it with third parties.
- Fonts — We use Google Fonts to display typefaces. Your browser may request fonts from Google’s servers; Google’s privacy policy applies to that request.
- Hosting — Our hosting provider may log standard server data (IP address, request timestamps, etc.) for security and operations. We do not use this for analytics or tracking.
Mac App Store
If you purchase Redactorizer through the Mac App Store, Apple processes the transaction. Apple’s privacy policy and terms apply to that purchase. We do not receive payment details or personal information from Apple beyond what’s required for sales reporting.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking on this website. We do not sell or share your data.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the website or app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
